Visited Stirling today and saw the Wallace Monument, the Stirling Castle and a Stirling distillery . It was hard to see the actual statue of William Wallace, but I'm told the resemblance to Mel Gibson is uncanny. Here are some photos of the trip. Also featured are some pictures from Friday nights festivities (it was my dorm's welcoming night at the Watering Hole). I've also put on some pictures from my day at the beach. I went (finally) to see the beach in Aberdeen, it was cold but very pretty. I would also like to introduce you to the new loves of Stacy, Vanessa, and my lives. Their names are Robbie (Stacy's bear), Wallace (Vanessa's highland cow), and Bruce (my highland cow). They are pictured above.

Hi, you don't know me and I am new to blogs , but somehow I ended up on your blog and I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your pictures so much. I want to travel to your country very soon. My husband and I are from California and we are retired. (60ish) I hope that doesn't matter that we are younger than your friends in the pics but I did enjoy the scenery and your posts. Best of happiness to you and yours.
Bye. Pam Vaughan USA

Not a problem Pam, and thanks so much. I'm glad somebody is looking at my blog. Thus far my only avid reader is my mother. Your husband and you should really try to come to Scotland. It's beautiful and the people are very friendly. Thanks again!

Dear Jenny,
I have been to Scotland. I saw it from 35000 feet in an airplane. I was going to Frankfurt to see my daughter. I was in July so Scotland was beautiful and green with lots of crystal lakes. I do want to go get my feet on the ground there. Say hi to your Mom she sounds like she misses you very much....Pam
